When dining with us at The Bee, in addition to the strict in-house policies for staff well-being, service & cleanliness, we request that all guests read the following information to familiarise themselves with our guidelines before visiting.

- MASKS CAN BE REMOVED ONLY WHEN GUESTS ARE SAT AT THEIR TABLE
- MAXIMUM OF 6 GUESTS PER TABLE FROM THE SAME HOUSEHOLD

We want all guests to still experience The Bees service & food that we have become known for, however, under the current circumstances it is imperative that all staff & guests feel safe during their time here, hence this is our number one priority. In light the fact things are a little different now our staff are new to this also & are following the guidelines set to them in order to keep YOU safe.
So what & why have we implemented the above? Below is a brief explanation, however our full policy can be viewed here.
RESERVATIONS FOR ALL GUESTS:
To enable us to control the number of guests in the pub & using the facilities all guests must reserve a table through our online reservation system. This also enables us to collect data to provide, if require, for the NHS ‘Test & Trace’
MAXIMUM 6 GUESTS:
Guidelines provided by the government stipulate the maximum size table we can serve is 6 guests.
In order to be ‘COVID-19 SECURE’ we have had to reduce the number of guests on the premises to be able to maintain social distancing in particular at pinch points throughout the pub.
1M+ SOCIAL DISTANCING
After carrying out full risk assessments we can implement 1M+ social distancing for all guests & staff. Please adhere to the guidance given on notices & by staff when visiting us.
To reduce contact between guests & staff menus can be viewed online on your personal devices, however we have a small number of single use menus for those unable to download the menus.
4* FOOD HYGIENE
We have re-established a 4* rating from Surrey Heath EHO on our last inspection, this is reassurance that we already maintain an high standard in our kitchens. We have additional cleaning & monitoring in place to ensure we are compliant.
We have gone over & above what has been requested by the government to ensure guests & staff are safe. We have completed our risk assessments to ensure that all aspects of the business have been assessed to ensure that we are reducing to the best of our ability the risk of infection.
TABLE SERVICE FOR ALL – NO BAR SERVICE
All guests are requested to not approach the bar for drinks, as we have done previously we offer table service for food & drink. If you are considering joining us for a drink please ensure you book your table.
In addition to new strict guidelines on staff hand sanitisation, methods of entering & exiting the property, regular temperature checks & well-being monitoring we have introduced new training for all staff in relation to our policy.
CARD PAYMENTS – NO CASH
With guidance from the government we will be cashless until further notice. All card payments are welcome.
